What do you mean I didn't win? Somehow I expected to get an early call (by EST) sometime this week as I do every time each year from the Nobel Prize committee. I figured one of my contributions to humanity should have garnered me at least a Peace prize by now. I know they are a bit slow on the science side. For example, today's announcement for the prize in Physics came a mere 48 years after the original paper was written. Similar prizes in Chemistry, Medicine, and even literature (go figure) have been awarded well over 50 years after their initial writing. If they do decide to grant me an award posthumously, I would like to thank them in advance.
Well, at least it was announced at the AES convention the release of Pro Tools 8 is slated to be released in the next several months (software for the soul). :)
